Neovanguard OS 1.2.1 in preparation

The source changelog records version 1.2.1 in preparation, authorized on September 12, 2026. The Live and Install ISOs are not publicly available. There is no confirmed publication date.

What changed in the code

• Installer validation before destructive commands.
• Firewall state, VPN DNS and endpoint checks, and Shamir set validation.
• Packaging and build checks, with explicit failure reporting.

Validation and publication are separate steps

The notes record local checks. That does not prove a complete release build, boot on hardware, offline installation or an independent cryptographic review. Packages only reach installations after being published to the configured update repository.

The documented CI keeps checksums temporarily and does not distribute ISOs. A checksum is not an image download.
